Polishing Machine Operative

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for an EXPERIENCED polishing machine operative in Oldbury. You will be joining a growing business who are the largest precision tube manufacturer in the UK

This role involves the safe and efficient operation of polishing and grinding machinery to achieve the required surface finish on stainless steel tubes within the production and finishing environment.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading tubes to and from the polishing line, setting, programming (where applicable), and monitoring CNC-controlled polishing/grinding equipment, inspecting finished tubes for surface quality, and reporting defects or equipment issues.

The work requires close attention to safety, quality standards, and accuracy when handling long and heavy products in a manufacturing setting.

Location: Oldbury (B69)

Contract: Temp to Perm

Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (Monday to Friday)

• Mornings: 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Afternoons: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Nights: 10:00pm – 6:00am
• ⚠️ Note: You must be able to work all three rotating shifts. No exceptions.
• Salary: Competitive, depending on experience.
